Ftelea Fish Taverna Saranda

I didn’t take the most professional photos, but the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The prices were very reasonable, even though I ordered quite a lot. The guy who served us was very polite and kind, which made the experience even better. The place itself was very clean, beautifully arranged, and spacious, creating a really comfortable atmosphere. One big plus is that there was parking available — something that’s not easy to find in Saranda, as we all know! I would definitely recommend this taverna if you’re looking for great seafood, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service.

10/10 experience. food was absolutely delicious. we got the fried sardines. the baked feta. grilled sea bass. grilled cuttle fish and hummus. everything was outstanding. service was great. it was my friends birthday, they made us feel so welcomed and really took care of us. wish we came here sooner instead of on our last day because we for sure would of been back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here! Between the food, service, and value, this is an amazing seafood restaurant. We shared the cold/crudo mixed platter for 2 - it tasted very fresh with simple but unique and delicious flavor combinations, like pomegranate. Even the side of bread was served slightly warm, which we thought was a lovely detail we haven’t had anywhere else. For my main, I had the seafood pasta and it was really good. They were generous with the seafood eg larger prawns, squid, and octopus, and the sauce was subtly flavorful. I liked that you could season it to your own taste- I added a touch of salt and lemon, and it was perfect. We also had the house white wine. No idea what it was, but it was surprisingly good! Not overly fruity but still tasty and not too acidic. The atmosphere was another highlight. It’s tucked away in a quieter part of town, away from the busy promenade, with a beautiful ambience created by string lights. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and we’d happily come back and recommend it to others.

Amazing food and staff. Super kind with all approaches, service quick, good music, good prices and portions. We went twice in our stay and it didn’t disappoint.

Tasty food, great value and generous portions. Hardworking staff and fair prices. - Sea bass with vegetables – €13 - Risotto with seafood – €7.50 - Baked salmon with vegetables – €11 - 0.5L local beer – €2.50 - Paulaner – €3.50 Only one issue: the menu listed dark Paulaner beer, but the waiter brought me a light one instead. When I pointed out that I had ordered the dark version and that it was shown on the menu, I was told they don’t actually have it. Slightly misleading, but everything else was excellent.

Absolutely outstanding! This seafood restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Every dish was beautifully presented and clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel truly taken care of. From start to finish, it was a fantastic dining experience. Super recommended… During my recent vacation in Saranda, I discovered Ftelea Fish Taverna, and it was truly a gem! This place offers some of the best seafood I've ever tasted. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the mussels—they were fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delightful experience.

The oven baked fish here is amazing - both in taste and value. You can get a 300g sea bass with potatoes & vegetables or 300g gilthead with cherry tomatoes, olives and capers for 1000lek. So good we went back a second time to have the sea bass. Bread, dips and olives are complimentary. Card payment accepted, which makes it convenient for tourists. There is a free parking directly opposite the restaurant in a small yard. Bit tricky to navigate as it’s very uneven and tight.
